Lindsay Allen

Health Economist, WVU School of Public Health

Dr. Lindsay Allen is a health economist and health services researcher and an assistant professor in the Department of Health Policy, Management, and Leadership in the WVU School of Public Health. Her research focuses on how the organization of the health care system influences the way patients interact with it.  Much of her work emphasizes improving health care access and outcomes for underserved populations. She is the co-Principal Investigator for West Virginia’s Medicaid 1115 Substance Use Disorder Waiver Evaluation.  She has previously worked in the pharmaceutical industry and as a senior health care technology analyst for the ECRI Institute.
